There's no denying that Santana Row is a San Jose hotspot. And as much as I try to stay away, I find myself coming here several times a week. It is a beautiful outdoor shopping and dining complex, and because it is one of the nicest spots to go in SJ, it's lively on any given night. Shops tend to ...

I kept discovering everything hidden and mysterious about the house before the tour guide got to talking about it! She was nice about it, though. Probably happens a lot. It was definitely fun and educational, and made me become interested in the story of this crazy house.

The place I go to for watching SJ Sharks games is also a venue for various concerts throughout the year. I saw Maroon Five with their opener The Strokes a few years ago, and it was a blast! The place is easy to get to, either by car or using Caltrain.

It is about time I review Mitsuwa Marketplace after many and I mean many times going here to buy Japanese product and stopping by at Santouka for some ramen. SJSU is the California state public school for the San Jose area, and one of the better ones. Business and engineering are solid here and employment potential is high. Around campus, check out the student union (there's a bowling alley downstairs) and take a walk through Washington Square.

I can't believe I never experienced this when I was still living in San Jose. The place is beautiful! I watched How To Be for Cinequest here. Came here for the first time after living in San Jose for 25+ years. If you come here please leave the kids at home, since the comedy you hear here will be very adult-themed. Else it's an okay location that has shown its wear and tear over the years. Bathrooms are upstairs, fyi.
