As an Adult, I tend to agree that for seeing Christmas in the Park, once is probably enough. It's also quite a schlep down here from the East Bay. And this Iowa Boy would prefer that there be snow, freezing temperatures, and a biting wind to really make this exhibit more authentic. I personally like watching various families watching the ...

Heard about this place from friends & clients, and finally got the opp to do some walking here with one of my besties, Tram N. :) Found parking in the parking lot just as someone was leaving. Thank goodness. Many trails everywhere & cool looking bridges. Lots of people having BBQs & picnics here. Not much shading; I'm pretty sure ...

It's nice to wander around here after having a picnic in Kelley Park. You'd think I'd be tired of this place considering how many countless field trips ended up here, but the garden was always my favorite part. If you come on a weekend, you might see a wedding party taking pictures in this area. It's a bit of a ...

Convenient location if you live near Almaden Valley and surroundings for a day trip with the family. Take the jetskis for water fun. The 2 stars rating would have been 3 if it weren't for the not so friendly ranger. Overall the park is clean and well maintained.

I have been hiking here for years with family and friends. Great spot for a good hike and good views of the Valley. Bring water and food since there is literally nothing for miles if you find yourself in the park and wanting either. Also beware of mountain lions!

Kelley Park is a good place to take the kids. Happy Hollow Zoo is located inside as are the Japanese Gardens. During the 4th of July this is also a great place to come watch fireworks but the area is crowded. Proceed with caution because parking then will also be nuts too.

I attended to many barbeque here. It's a great spot for families and for companies if you have a big group of people. It's pretty big and spacious so if you're going for an event... it's a nice spot to attend. They also have Raging Waters nearby if you need to cool off a bit.

A nice park if you don't mind the noise of the expressway running next to it. It has picnic areas and a good playground. I spend most if my time here at the off-leash dog park, one of the only astro-turfed ones in the area that doesn't charge for parking. This means it can get pretty crowded, especially just before ...

We decided to check out the Coyote Creek Trail during this past long weekend with the sunny skies and cool breeze. At $6 per car for parking, we quickly did a u-turn and parked in the residential areas. The trail is nice and long with many shaded areas and groves of trees. If you didn't know it, you wouldn't think ...

Nice park in San Jose. Pretty good neighborhood. You have to park on the street but there's tons of parking. Problem is though it's not a great place to skateboard but it's a great place with a large field. Definitely the streets around here need work unless your driving.
