Sanctum Soho is a stylish boutique hotel constructed on a couple of Georgian townhouses with thirty six (36) artistically decorated guestrooms in the lively Soho in central London. The accommodations range from tiny “crashpad rooms” to spacious “Loft Suites” that are all are modern and include beautiful black art-deco style bathrooms. The freestanding baths, ceiling rain showers, four poster beds and velvet walls are especially nice features in some of the rooms. The No.20 Restaurant/Bar serves a modern British menu with a decent wine selection on an elegant ambiance; breakfast, lunch and Afternoon Tea are also served onsite. The smart Cinema with 45 seats along with the trendy Rooftop/bar with its hip open-air hydro-spa are good facilities for hosting small corporate and private events. While gym and Spa facilities are lacking, Wi-Fi Internet is complementary. The service is indifferent, and the overall experience relatively overvalued. The property is greatly located just minutes by foot from the Theater district, and the famous Regent, Oxford, Bond and Carnaby shopping streets.

A funky little hotel in Soho, with a rarity in London, the city that sleeps...a 24 hour bar. The rooms are thought out in extreme detail, from the REN products to the half bottles of wine and jelly beans that greet you on arrival. In the smaller rooms, there is the diplomatically named "New York style wet room" which basically means that there is no shower stall. That's never been my favorite kind of bathroom, but if you can splurge on a bigger room it should be no problem. The location is fabulous, and the service is polite and attentive.
