Solid brunch spot overall - their food is pretty good but not stellar. I would probably give a 3.5 stars but the fact that it is right across the street from the beach sets this spot apart from the pack.

    Wahoo's Fish Taco

Wahoo's is great. I love their chicken or fish bowls. The meat is marinated in a super tasty sauce that can be either spicy or not. Also, if you're in the mood for a good wet burrito, wahoo's is your best bet.

    Sandbar Tequila y Cocina

Fun place to go for happy hour. They have good drink and food specials, like 2 for 1 drinks. The food is mediocre. Nothing special. I think people go here more for the drinks and mingling than for the food though.

I really like this hole in the wall Mexican food spot. It's tucked away on Del la vina, so there's never a lot of foot traffic which I love. They make all of their food from scratch and it tastes like you're getting it right out of a home kitchen. I highly recommend their breakfast burritos and horchata.

    Chipotle Mexican Grill

The most convenient way to get a burrito or burrito bowl in town. You don't have to wait long for your food and you can customize it immediately. Preferably I usually like to go to a smaller more local place, but when running low on time this is the spot to go to. Although I wish they had whole wheat ...

Great local place to eat. Big portions and great service. The salsas are very tasty and they are not stingy with it. It is also a great place to feed a lot of people. You can order big trays of food at a reasonable price to cater a lunch or dinner party.

Our meal was excellent and the service was friendly, attentive, and informative. And we did stare dreamily across the table from each other.

    Taqueria El Buen Gusto

Ignore all those people who tell you to go to the more famous taqueria that Julia Child once ate at that's down the street a few blocks. Those long lines are just not worth it, and apart from the homemade tortillas at the other place, I've found the food to be more authentic here. Grab a bottle of Pacifico and ...

They have a great location and the food is pretty good for a chain restaurant. Pretty good place if you want to feed a large group without spending that much money. They have a popular brunch with unlimited mimosas. I've lived here for many years not but only eaten here 2x - I think, there are just better options.

Good fresh food. A little over priced so I don't frequent this spot, but it's good when in a bind and you need good, quick, freshly made and relatively healthy food.
