There are ample opportunities to play and eat along the wharf in Santa Cruz. Kids and adults alike will also enjoy seeing the sea lions that hang out here, making this a great place to stop on a tour of California's exciting wildlife.Recommended for:

Great place to take your date or go for a walk. This Wharf is built for tourists obviously, so parking as well as the restaurants are fairly expensive. If you want you can also fish off the pier and word has it that you can make quite a catch.

The wharf is pretty touristy, but it's still worth checking out. Olita's has delicious margaritas, and there's a few places that serve decent chowder. Otherwise, seeing the sea lions is the most exciting thing about this place.

I have no idea why there is a picture of the lighthouse here. The wharf is great, nice walk, people fishing, Stagnaro Brothers is a must for dinner if you are a tourist and of course Marinis Munchies. Go bark at the sea lions while you are out at the end of the wharf, they have viewing holes. More sea lions in summer.
