    Third Street Promenade

    91 reviews

I could spend all day here. It has all the stores that you'll probably find at any other mall, but the stores seem bigger and not cramped, and you get to walk around in the fresh air on the open streets. Also, there's so many more restaurants and stores (that aren't chain stores) that you could explore surrounding Third Street. ...

    Santa Monica State Beach

    85 reviews

One of LA's best beaches! The sand is soft and the beach is broad. You can surf in a couple of spots - south of the pier is best (come early before its blown out). There are playgrounds here for kids, and while you are not super far from the town of santa monica, its far enough that you should ...

    Main Street Santa Monica

    29 reviews

Main St. in Santa Monica is like the 3rd St. Promenade's slightly more hipster sister. The clothing stores and boutiques here tend to be a little more independent, a little more skater/hipster than mainstream big brands. There are tons of great bars and brunch restaurants on this stretch as well. On weekends, you can also catch the Farmers' Market here.

    Copa D'Oro

    14 reviews

Nice little lounge/bar located across from the Santa Monica Mall. I was there for my friends bday, they do take reservations and we had a nice little area off to side right next to the main entrance. Our server was wonderful. Great music, live DJ. The drinks were a bit pricey but it's expected in the area.

    Bergamot Station

    10 reviews

After a failed attempt to visit MOCA (closed on Tuesdays!) we came here to get our culture fix. Fantastic artists in residence art studios minutes from the more heavily trafficked Santa Monica Promenade.

YogaWorks is one of the large corporate yoga chains, and this studio was the first of many. You will be able to find any kind of ...

    The Misfit

    5 reviews

One of my favorite spots for weekend brunch! $12 bottomless mimosas are available until 4pm so you could easily spend hours here. For brunch, the chilaquiles are awesome, but if you're not in the mood for brunch food, get the crispy lobster sliders and the kale and quinoa salad. Both are incredibly tasty! Their fried chicken is also amazing, but ...

Awesome energy in every session! By donation only, it will be the steamiest power yoga class from one of the oldest teacher's around... Bryan is really amazing and not one to drown out the class with boring butterfly and angles talk, he is actually really funny (which works on my abs), and flows the class... in no time its over ...
