This is one of the most charming, albeit a little contrived, shopping areas in the Bay Area. There are tons of upscale shops and great dining options, but don't go expecting to find lots of good deals.

Places here are much more costly than the places at Valley Fair. But the outdoor pedestrian walkways are nice and its definitely a hot spot for gatherings and late night kadoodling.

Beautiful place to stroll on weekends. Beautifully decorated with flowers and high end stores. Good selection of restaurants. Limited parking options. Beware of snob people who pretend they are rich.

Love this place just to walk around...high end shops here means I do more window shopping than "spend" shopping haha. On nice days there's lots of people walking around and walking their dogs too.

Santana Row is a great stop if you're planning to stay in the South Bay. It has tons of restaurants and shops (and more shops across the street if Gucci, Burberry, and Ferragamo do not satisfy your shopping needs)! Although Santana Row has many restaurants, I wouldn't go there for a high-end dining experience (although the price might suggest it), but Santana Row is a fun and lively place to be if you want to mingle and hang out at the restaurant bars afterward.

There's no denying that Santana Row is a San Jose hotspot. And as much as I try to stay away, I find myself coming here several times a week. It is a beautiful outdoor shopping and dining complex, and because it is one of the nicest spots to go in SJ, it's lively on any given night. Shops tend to be more on the upscale luxury side, but there are also smaller boutiques and an H&M. Great selection of restaurants and bars too, so you can park and hop from place to place easily.

I'm impressed that the designers took what people like about traditional walkable downtowns and transferred what they could to this fake yet lovable shopping area. I like the fake lawn (no need to water) and the real outdoor sofas. If I lived closer I'd go more often.
