What a gem in Culver City! While the location is unexpected (right off the freeway and in an industrial part of town), the space itself is really chic. There's a nice wine selection, but the food is what made the biggest impression on me. The flatbread pizzas were amazing! The recipes come from Sara's family in Italy, so you're in for a treat.

Great Culver City wine spot! With yummy Italian food and a fantastic selection of wines this place is great to come on a date or host a private party! Will definitely be back here next time I'm in the area

Sara and her husband Ciroc are awesome hosts! The food is incredible with much of it coming from Sara's mom's recipes. Meet some great locals at this neighborhood hangout. Very nice wine selection by the glass as well. Will definitely make this a new regular hangout!

*Cool home-like vibe*
Husband and wife tag-team to run Sara The Wine Bar. While the wife does the Italian cooking, the husband runs the service and the bar.
Yeah, the food takes some time to arrive, but I felt like I was at a home (will list below why) as I sipped on wine while waiting for food.
The Pizza Margherita was delicious, thin, and crispy; and we opted for sausage as our meat. We also ordered the bruschetta, where baby tomatoes were used instead of regular tomatoes, making the dish a bit sweeter; simple changes are good!
+ Husband utilizes the hell out of that wine aerator per pour
+ They have a "house cheers," where everyone at the bar and tables cheers with one another.
+ Rather than pretentious elevator/candlelight music, there's 90's hip hop and r&b.
+ I've seen "regulars" at a dive bar before, but there are cordial regulars at the wine bar here.
+ Prices are very fair. No bottle is over $35
It's low key without the darkness, moping, and yawning. Definitely a gem in Culver City.

Family owned wine bar. Delicious and consistent wines -- much more worth places than Bottlerock etc. the food here is stellar -- family recipes. The bruschetta is ridiculous -- with a kick. Don't trip. Just order that. The food is insane, authentic. Come for happy hour 4-7. And don't forget the wines. 11 for 4 different wines !
