These gardens are decent enough, although some parts seem to be suffering from neglect. The gardens are free but the parking is run by the Duke Campus and follows the same rules. Buy a parking ticket for $1 per 30 minutes.

A really nice garden to take a stroll. My favorite is the goldfish pond with all lily pads. It was so cute!
If you want to take a picture with a nice background, there are so many areas you can choose from.
The garden is a nice place to relax.

It's impossible to spend time here without feeling at least 8.4% better. You can feed ducks and swans in the pond, smell dozens of different kinds of flowers, wander through the native and non-native plants, or just lay down for a picnic. In the summer, they host Friday evening concerts on the lawn. Bring a picnic, or buy some snacks there.Recommended for:
