    River Street

    34 reviews

My wife and I spent much more of our time in Savannah in the parks, squares and museums around town than we ever did on River Street. River Street is the one place in an otherwise gorgeous town that screams tourist trap. You should check it out but realize that as opposed to the Olde Pink House, you're going to ...

    Sorrel-Weed House

    7 reviews

We took the haunted house tour. They show you a few clips from the TAPS investigation in 2005, and then take you through the house. The EMF detectors were fun, and our guide was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed her discussion thoroughly. I can't compare to other ghost tours in the city, but this was a nice diversion.

On our second or third day in Savannah we went to the Telfair Museum. There are multiple branches and you can buy a pass to each one. One of the main attractions is the rooftop balcony, which offers a great view of downtown Savannah and is a clever show place for some of the larger sculpture.
