Going to Miami Beach
Who's on this trip?
I'm planning a trip for our 16th Anniversary, and would love to find a hotel with a city view. My wife has never been to Miami. I'd like to find one that has a nice view of the bay and/or city, preferably high enough to see a decent distance. Or, one with a rooftop pool. Either Miami or Miami Beach is fine.

- JW Marriott Marquis Miami255 Biscayne Blvd. Way, Miami, FL 33131recommended JW Marriott Marquis MiamiAmazing sports amenities. I have seriously never seen anything quite like this. And you won't miss the game anywhere in this hotel as there are huge HD TVs in all the elevators, all the guestrooms and in the very nice bars and restaurants downstairs. There's also a jumbo-size home cinema available on a reservation basis! Getting tired of basketball? The court transforms for tennis and there's a virtual bowling alley in-the-house too. One word of advice, I heard through the grapevine that this hotel is so well-suited for basketball that some NBA away-teams do stay here. So, if you'd rather use the facilities than gawk at the pros, book your stay when there's no home game for the Heat!.Comment.4 months ago. ReportArlo Hemphill
This is another excellent downtown high rise hotel.

You'll find better city and bay views in downtown Miami as opposed to Miami Beach. A number of the nicer hotels are very tall high rises with amazing views. The Four Seasons is amongst my favorites. The hotels on Miami Beach tend to be lower, and the draw is the beach, the nightlife and the art deco architecture.
