Fantastic find. Provocative. Free. The Sculpture Garden houses several dozen modern, powerful pieces in a beautiful setting next to the New Orleans Museum of Art. Lots of photo opportunities. Several of the pieces offer unique glimpses into Louisiana life, including a powerful piece about failed rescues during hurricane Katrina. Great collection. Beautiful venue. I'd rate it up there with Paris's Rodin House and the Hirshorn gardens in Washington DC. Maybe even higher if you visit here on a day when it is not too muggy!
