I simply love the boat ride in the sea of galilee truly relaxing and you can go meditate and feel very spiritual. All over the Tiberias area you will see this body of water from the St. Peter's Primacy, to the Ancient Boat Museum, and hotels all over the city would have imposing views of the sea's expanse.

We tried walking on water here... no luck. In all seriousness this is one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever seen. The water is clear and the Golan Heights are the most picturesque backdrop. Coupled with the history and the amazing weather, you can spend a while here.

Wow - you hear about this place all the time and to actually be able to put your feet in the water and see how big it really is. We were on a tour which went here and several other sites that are mentioned in the bible.
