Enjoy a night out on the town in San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter. Our favorite spots include Sear Sucker, Barley Mash, Vin de Syrah, and an adorable Irish pub, The Field.

Even if you're not military or into military-type things, I think this is an interesting museum to go to as you get to tour an actual air craft carrier and see how its crew live on board the vessel.

We love the atmosphere and the restaurants and the people watching. We are patrons of Zia's Cafe, Po Pazzo (a bit pricey), Mona Lisa (love the deli), Bottlecraft and of course Ballast Point's new brewery/restaurant.

Its my home for the last 12 years. America's Finest City has a fantastic Downtown with so many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, lounges, hotels and more. Petco Park baseball stadium is here. Movie theaters, Horton Plaza mall also in Downtown. Plenty of parking. The Gaslamp Quarter and the Convention Center. Its one of the best places I have ever lived..!

I have found my new Saturday morning routine. Seriously. This farmer's market in Little Italy is the most impressive market I have seen in a long time: with four whole blocks of stalls and stands dedicated to promoting local, homegrown, homemade, and handcrafted goods, it is always downright packed with people. From fruits and vegetables to trinkets and toys, meats ...

A great ballpark and fun activity to add to your visit! The games don't usually sell out and tickets are readily available. You can enjoy dinner and drinks from many nearby sports bars, pubs and restaurants. Steps away from the nightlife in downtown with easy access to the trolley.

The perfect introduction to the city - or at least the surrounding waterscape! Harbor excursions will take you up North and South Islands/Bay so you can see Point Loma, Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Navy ships, and the barking seals, then on past to Coronado, the Coronado Bridge, and past the beautiful skyline of the city. My favorite company is Hornblower ...

This rooftop bar overlooks the East Village of San Diego, and specifically Petco Park. The cocktails are made to perfection and it's great if you can get a spot near the fire-pits. It is located inside a hotel and has high-quality staff. Most weekend nights, you will wait in a line outside as there's limited space to wait upstairs, and ...

The ferry is a great way to get from Downtown SD to Coronado Island. Do note, if you take the ferry, you're on the opposite side of the island as the beach. It's a cute, maze-like Alice in Wonderland kind of mall but the problem is that it's also like a maze. Discovery: Not as great as Fashion Valley in terms of stores but the parking is horrendous. You would think a mall with it's own parking structure would be convenient, but the parking structure is like a maze sometimes itself. Right. ...
