Been visiting here for decades. Huge variety of shops. Really fun surroundings. Beautiful, peaceful, lively, silly...all in one place. Great for all ages. Ride the 120-year-old carousel! Then gets some ice cream or fudge and look at the water. Buy a kite and fly it right there! Too much wonderfulness for one place.

Seems like a very touristy place, but it is so fun...we even like to go and we live here, great for the kiddos! Restaurants, shops, carousel and street entertainers, parking lot too! It is right on the water and a great walk along the water to many other sights too. Check it out if you have a chance.

Seaport Village is nice place walk around and relax by the bay. Def a must see if you´re visiting San Diego. There are many souvenir shops, restaurants and live music and it is in a walk distance from attractions along the bay, the port and Gaslamp.

My favorite spot to drop in whenever I am in the San Diego area. I love the location, the atmosphere is lively and the shops are cute. It brings back memories of when I was a kid hanging out with my dad in SD.

This is a tourist trap if I ever did see one, but I still come here every once in a while for a sunny stroll and to fly my kite. It's fun to browse the small stores here (the kite one is my favorite) but they are so overpriced and tourist-focused that I have never purchased anything. It's also really close to downtown, so it might be worth checking out if you have an hour to kill and don't feel like driving further.

As many have stated Seaport Village is a bit of a "tourist" spot. However, I find it completely relaxing to take a stroll and enjoy the fresh air as I look through all of the eclectic shops (perhaps looking for that perfect souvenir) while listening to the live entertainment that's all around. There are also several delicious restaurants to choose from. The setting is quite beautiful with pathways, bridges, ponds and gives you a great view of the bay. I say, it's worth popping by for a relaxing afternoon outdoors.
