Melt in your mouth sashimi. You have to sit at the counter and experience omakase at least once if you are a big sushi fan. It's not only fun, but exciting to see what Chef Shiro will hand you next. He educates you on the fish, where it's from, and what's special about it. It's a very fun and unique ...

    Tavern Law

    1406 12th Avenue, Seattle, WA
    4.5
    7 reviews

It is a great prohibition themed speak easy. The downstairs section is the library, but the real gem is the upstairs section. You have to call from the phone to check if there is space upstairs, which is kind of a pain. However, it is worth it. It is very cozy upstairs with great custom-crafted cocktails.

This is the main Ivar's, the one with the sit-down restaurant, the historic Native American artifacts on the wall (including a giant carved wooden kayak -- gorgeous), and the huge menu filled with dozens of classic Pacific Northwest fish dishes, yummy international appetizers and a great selection of the classic Ivar's fish and chips or (my personal favorite) fried clam ...

They have the best crumpets around! make sure to get there early in the morning because there will be a line, but waiting in line is worth the wait!! I usually get my crumpet with peanut butter and honey on it. That and a nice cup of coffee starts my day off perfectly when I'm down at Pikes Place Market

    Spinasse

    1531 14th Avenue, Seattle, WA

It is one of my favorite restaurants in town. It is a little bit off the busiest streets in Capitol Hill, and the restaurant is very small and cozy. They offer fresh pasta made daily onsite. The flavor was amazing. They also have other favorite Italian dishes like roasted pork belly. I have only been there a few times, because ...

This is my favorite gourmet pizza place in Seattle! Tom Douglas is a food genius, and many of his restaurants display his great taste in food especially using Northwest ingredients. The prosciutto arugula and egg pizza was the most memorable one that I've ordered. Their happy hour pies are also a great deal if you can manage to get there ...

They serve up some delicious cupcakes at Trophy! My friend took me here to check out the cupcakes and I went for the snickerdoodle one while she ordered the red velvet. The former owner of Matt's in the Market (Matt) opened up this place. Unfortunately our timing was off because it opened after I moved out from the Harbor Steps. Had this place been open while I was living there, I think I would have easily been here 5 times a week. I've always liked this space - back when it ...
