    Stumptown Coffee Roasters

    616 E Pine, Seattle, WA
    5
    5 reviews

In Seattle, there's literally a cafe on every corner and a staggering number of them are awesome. The thing that makes Stumptown a cut above the rest is the fact that they roast their own beans right at the cafe. There are even seats down in the roasting area so curious patrons can watch how their perfect cup gets made. ...

How is it possible that I've never written a review for Paseo? I loved the days when Paseo was a stone's throw away in Fremont, and we can head on over from Ballard and be there within 10 minutes. I remember we would go get take out from there, bring them back, and eat at home, and the sandwiches are ...

While this is the tourist spot or the large work outing go to spot in Seattle it is still DELICIOUS food. If you are in town for the weekend check out what is playing at the Triple door downstairs. The sound is amazing and the service is wonderful.

    Dish

4358 Leary Way Nw, Seattle, WA 98107

There will definitely be a wait to get into this place for brunch on a weekend, but luckily they have a cart outside with mugs and a carafe of coffee, so at least you can caffeinate yourself as you wait. I had the sausage and biscuits here, which are by no means in any way healthy, but they were delicious. ...

This cured meat shop in Seattle's Pioneer Square district comes care of the Batali family, the very same that gave us star chef Mario Batali. Salumi has, bar none, the best salami, pepperoni and other deli slices in the Pacific Northwest. They spice, cure, smoke and dry all their meats in-house, so the smell in the shop is amazing. This is a great place for some fresh seafood. The restaurant is very nice, but you can dress casual and the staff will still treat you with much respect. The black cod and crab cakes were delicious! Definitely try the chocolate almond upside down cake too. YUM! If you have a window table you will also have a great view ...

Pristine shellfish, displayed on ice in wire baskets lining a gleaming zinc counter, are the main attraction at this handsome Ballard oyster bar. The shucking itself is a work of art.

We were entertained by the idea of a carnival-themed bar; Capital Hill in general is a fun place to be. We got here early so it wasn't poppin yet, but we still liked the ambiance! Kinda grunge-y and dark, but hey, it's a bar and it's Cap Hill.

It is a great prohibition themed speak easy. The downstairs section is the library, but the real gem is the upstairs section. You have to call from the phone to check if there is space upstairs, which is kind of a pain. However, it is worth it. It is very cozy upstairs with great custom-crafted cocktails.
