    The Triple Door

    4
    4 reviews

It is right on First Avenue close to Pike Place Market. An intimate venue to watch live shows. I have watched Jazz, Bossa Nova there. They also serve decent food.

    Chop Suey

    3.5
    2 reviews

Chop Suey is a smaller music venue on the Eastern edge of the Pike / Pine corridor. I'm usually there for electronic music (Caribou, F*** Buttons) but they have plenty of rock and locals acts too. Their stage is a kind of picture-window, which can obscure your view sometimes, but nonetheless I've always had a great time.

    Piroshky Piroshky

    4
    21 reviews

This review is based on only one thing, and I'm afraid I may have tried something that's not as good as its counterparts. I went for their smoked mozzarella, broccolini and mushroom piroshky, and it was just okay. I heard rave reviews over their beef and cheese one though! --- I returned to try their cheese roll. *faint* The best ...

    Armandino's Salumi

    5
    13 reviews

This cured meat shop in Seattle's Pioneer Square district comes care of the Batali family, the very same that gave us star chef Mario Batali. Salumi has, bar none, the best salami, pepperoni and other deli slices in the Pacific Northwest. They spice, cure, smoke and dry all their meats in-house, so the smell in the shop is amazing. People ...

    Paseo

    4.5
    21 reviews

One of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had. For reals. I was stuffed before going to Paseo and I still ate the whole thing AND asked for more. I got the veg version and it was bomb. I can't imagine how their original pulled pork is like. This place has no sign but it's easy to spot bc it's in ...

    Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream

    4.5
    12 reviews

This is a Seattle favorite. Surprisingly rain or shine you'll see a little line outside of this neighborhood ice cream shop. It gets busy after school or after dinner. Tips: If you are in a hurry and can't wait in line just go to the freezer and grab a pint or three and head to the cash register. The line ...

    Beecher's Handmade Cheese

LOVED their crab & cheese sandwich. Picture this - Fresh crab from Pike Place Market just right across the street and the freshest cheese (which you can watch them make at the store) melted in between crispy, buttered panini pressed artisanal bread (also freshly baked). Can you get any better than that? I also got to sample their mac & ...

Pike Place Chowder - Pike Place Market

Highly recommended! I tried clam chowder and seafood bisque. Both of them are amazingly GREAT! Only problem is the shop is quite small and might no enough sitting area.

    Canlis

    5
    6 reviews

Largely regarded as one of Seattle's top restaurants, Canlis was doing farm-to-table long before it was cool. This intimate eatery has been in the Canlis family for three generations, and its founder, Peter Canlis, was the son of a chef who cooked for President Teddy Roosevelt. Always on the culinary cutting edge, Canlis has devoted itself to locally sourced food ...

    Pike Place Fish Market Inc

    4.5
    17 reviews

Funnily enough, the long-running NBC comedy “Frasier” took place in Seattle, but never shot a scene here until its 100th episode. In the especially hectic episode, Frasier and Niles make a horrific journey from historic Pioneer Square all the way up to Seattle Center for a special radio event. Their travails took them to Regrade Park just south of downtown, ...

    Wasabi Bistro

    3.5
    4 reviews

Wasabi Bistro has a great late night happy hour! It's very affordable and delicious. Their rolls are great, and the restaurant itself is very beautiful and modern. The servers are helpful, and they are more than happy to accommodate your large party. The tempura ice cream is a must-order if you still have room for dessert!

    Macrina Bakery & Cafe

    4.5
    14 reviews

This bread is the shizz. It is so the shizz that a lot of other restaurants in Seattle get their bread from here. It's a great place for brunch. Also, they sell their day-old breads half off! The only reason why I give them four stars instead of five is because their coffee wasn't very good. I recommend sticking to ...

    Salty's On Alki Beach

    4
    15 reviews

The five stars are for the view more than the food (the view gets six stars, which makes up for the four-star food). If you're traveling to Seattle but don't know exactly where to go outside of the main downtown area, Salty's is a perfect mini-road trip. Check out Alki Beach for a quick stroll.

The twice-baked almond croissants were worth the drive, and the baguette is inexplicably amazing.
