    Cafe Flora

    2901 E Madison St, Seattle, WA 98112
    10 reviews

Vegetarians go nuts for this place but some meat lovers might also enjoy some of their dishes! Perfect for brunch, the scrambles are tasty and unique. Dinner choices are just ok in my opinion. The restaurant is beautiful and large.

    Le Panier Very French Bakery

    1902 Pike Place, Seattle, WA
    9 reviews

This bakery always has a long line in the mornings and I can see why. Their flaky croissants have become my breakfast staple. Especially the chocolate one. I also loved their chocolate/almond paste combo. They also sell a lot of tarts and macaroons.

    Wild Ginger

    1401 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98101
    9 reviews

While this is the tourist spot or the large work outing go to spot in Seattle it is still DELICIOUS food. If you are in town for the weekend check out what is playing at the Triple door downstairs. The sound is amazing and the service is wonderful.

This is a great place for some fresh seafood. The restaurant is very nice, but you can dress casual and the staff will still treat you with much respect. The black cod and crab cakes were delicious! Definitely try the chocolate almond upside down cake too. YUM! If you have a window table you will also have a great view ...

    The Walrus and the Carpenter

4743 Ballard Avenue Northwest Seattle, WA 98107

Pristine shellfish, displayed on ice in wire baskets lining a gleaming zinc counter, are the main attraction at this handsome Ballard oyster bar. The shucking itself is a work of art.

    2401 2nd Avenue, Seattle, WA
    7 reviews

Melt in your mouth sashimi. You have to sit at the counter and experience omakase at least once if you are a big sushi fan. It's not only fun, but exciting to see what Chef Shiro will hand you next. He educates you on the fish, where it's from, and what's special about it. It's a very fun and unique ...

    Portage Bay Cafe & Catering

4130 Roosevelt Way Ne, Seattle, WA 98105

Fresh, organic, large portions, group/kid friendly... it's no wonder why Portage Bay is one of the most popular brunch spots in Seattle. Even at 10am, we still had to wait 30 minutes for a table for three. And the place is HUGE too. While the fresh fruit topping station looked very tempting, I decided not to get pancakes or french ...

Two words - Bacon jam. I heard about this place when they were featured on the Food Network. My friend had just moved back to Seattle so I asked her to check it out. Starbucks - Pike Street

102 Pike St., Seattle, WA 98101
    8 reviews

This is the first ever Starbucks ever to have existed. (Excuse my passive voice, it's actually quite exciting!) Street performers dance in front of this cafe that looks quite unlike any other Starbucks. It has a lot of character. It reminds us that, despite its current domination of the coffee world, Starbucks started as a small shop.

    Ivar's Salmon House

401 NE Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98105
    9 reviews

Ivar's is a Seattle institution, and the location is wonderful because you have a view of Lake Union... but the food is so-so. Service can be slow and hectic on a busy evening especially in their bar because it's basically happy hour all night. Their clam chowder is the best thing on the menu, and that's about it.
