    Top Pot Doughnuts - Downtown

    2124 5th Ave., Seattle, WA 98121 ‎
    4.5
    15 reviews

Top Pot Doughnuts, despite its reputation as Seattle's best doughnut chain, was a wee bit overhyped. The doughnuts lacked the sugary flavor and was kind of dry. I like the retro decor though.

    Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream

    1622 North 45th Street, Seattle, WA 98103
    4.5
    11 reviews

While it has less adventurous flavors than some other popular homemade ice cream shops, it does the ones it has very well. The melted chocolate flavor somehow imparted both the flavor AND the texture of melty chocolate. And the Scout Mint is great too.

    Le Panier Very French Bakery

    1902 Pike Place, Seattle, WA
    4.5
    8 reviews

This venerable Pike Place bakery opened in 1983 with a commitment to making Normandy-style pastries (one of the owners still makes regular reconnaissance trips to France). Stop in for tarte aux abricots—a traditional fruit tart with puff pastry crust, almond pastry cream, and sour apricots—or the Feuilletés, a Le Panier creation of puff pastry with savory fillings like delicate chicken ...

    Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream

917 East Pine Street, Seattle, WA

Seattleites love Molly Moon's ice cream - there are a few stores in the city actually. My favorite flavors are the classic vanilla bean and earl grey! The smell of the waffle cones is intoxicating... in a good way.

    Fainting Goat Gelato

1903 North 45th Street, Seattle, WA

This is hands down my favorite Gelato place in Seattle. The gelato here is freshly made on premise and so pure and flavorful. I have never been a big fan of very sweet ice-cream/gelato, so usually, I can only finish 1/2 a scoop. However, gelato here is a perfect combination of sweet and sour and I just can't have enough ...

    The Yellow Leaf Cupcake Co.

2209 4th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121, United States

For all of the hype, we were expecting more and found ourselves very disappointed. Tried three different flavors over two separate visits and it was a "no go" on all of them. One of the flavors (lavender) was done in such a manner that it tasted like dish soap and had to be thrown out after a couple of bites. ...

    Full Tilt Ice Cream

9629 16th Avenue SW, Seattle, WA, United States

Ice cream parlor with about a dozen homemade varieties, including mexican chocolate and coconut. They always have a couple of vegan ice cream options, they sell beer, AND they have at least five pinball machines in the back! A little off the beaten path, but a great detour if you're already in White Center/West Seattle. Note: there are also locations ...

    Bottega Italiana

    1425 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA

Some of the best gelato I have had, in a little shop just outside Pike Place Market. The flavors are amazing -- the fruit sorbettos taste exactly like the actual fruit, not some over-sugared imitation version! My favorite is the pistachio -- I used to buy a pint once a week for my freezer! Service is friendly, and there is ...

    Cupcake Royale

    108 Pine Street

There are a thousand places to grab dessert around Seattle, especially in Capitol Hill, but Cupcake Royale has a special kind of heart. Their from-scratch cupcakes are some of the best in the nation with a lot of whimsical flavors (Salted Caramel Bourbon, anyone?) and they're all excellently decorated. Cupcake Royale has always been a big supporter of the LGBT ...

    Old School Frozen Custard

1316 East Pike Street, Seattle, WA

When it comes to frozen treats, I'm a huge fan of frozen custard. There's something about adding eggs to food that makes it, sing. Yes, sing. The flavors at Old School aren't just run of the mill either. Sure they have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, but they have apple strudel, orange creamsicle, and chocolate peanut butter cup too. My friend ...

    zoeyogurt

6900 E Green Lake Way N, Suite E, Seattle, WA 98115, United States

This is one of those you serve yourself frozen yogurt places which are popping up all over. They had 10 flavors available to sample. All were good and price was reasonable (done by weight). Lots of toppings to choose from too. This is located across from Green Lake so nice for a break after running around and burning off all ...

    Hiroki Specialty Desserts

2224 North 56th Street, Seattle, Washington

A short bus ride from downtown Seattle, Hiroki is located in a cute residential area along with a couple other cafes. This place exudes small town charm. Their cakes, pastries and cookies are absolutely delicious. I got to try a bite of their apple bread pudding, a double chocolate cookie (that was so moist and dense!) and their famous green ...

    Full Tilt Ice Cream

5453 Leary Avenue Northwest, Seattle, Washington, United States

The ice cream is great, and the rows of pinball machines are icing on the cake. Or ice cream. You can also pay with LevelUp, if you use that.

    Husky Ice Cream Inc

4721 California Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA

This West Seattle deli has been making ice cream since the 1930's, and carries about 30 flavors, including banana, coconut and seasonal varieties like egg nog and pumpkin. You can get cones or pints and quarts to take away. How good is it? A Ben and Jerry's Scoop shop opened about two blocks away in 2005 and was out of ...

    Beard Papa's

600 5th Avenue South, Seattle, WA

I have had Beard Papa's prior to this experience in Seattle, however, I was actually pleasant surprised at the Green Tea puffs that I had no desire to try back home. This particular location is busy busy busy! It is inside the Uwajimaya market so caters to a lot of people trying to get these yummy cream puffs, but otherwise ...
