Buy the discounted Southern California tickets/ AAA discounts to help cut down on costs.
the new Manta ride. It's a mediocre roller coaster ride. Contrary to the billboard pictures, you never go over the water. When we got off the ride, there was a 75 minute wait - not worth it folks.
So, off to the dolphin show. Dolphins? Uh, it was more a show with people dancing and cavorting around on bungee lines and trapeze lines. The dolphins were a minimal part of the show. Maybe the PETA people go to them, and now we have no leaping out of the water to touch the ball suspended in the air. Just a lame 'story' about going to a magical land.
Shamu was okay. The best part of the show, as always, is watching the people getting soaked. Again, though, something was missing. The animals are secondary to the trainers performing on the stage.
By this time, we were pretty jaded. We did go to the Cirque Soleil show - another poor time killer. We did not dine at the park. Everything is now a cafeteria style venue - no sit down restaurant.
I would strongly recommend that tourists spend their money at D-Land or Knotts - and for marine life education, visit the Long Beach Aquarium.

Whenever I'm here, I start a list of animals I wanna own: polar bear, sea turtle, shamu, clown fish, dolphins and penguins. Oh, this is a list of animals I want from Sea World; there's another for SD Zoo! I want panda, white tiger, brown bears, and lions!
Anyhow, I love coming here because it's so interesting to see all the animal, especially when you get to feed the dolphins. However, it suck that you have to pay $6 to help Sea World feed dolphins that they would have feed them to begin with. What else are they going to do, not feed them?!?!?!? =_=!!!
Sea World has improved this year from last. Sea World added the Shark Encounter attraction, which has an underground tank tunnel that you get to feel as if you're surrounded by water. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the tunnel, but I only wish it was LONGER!
Another HUGE thing they've changed is that they no longer charge for the rides!!!!!!!! For those who been to Sea World before, not only do you pay $73 to get into the park, but then YOU HAD TO PAY FOR THE RIDES!!!!! It felt like a TOTAL RIPPED OFF!!!!! So now they no longer do that, I think I'll be visiting the park a little more, or actually stay a little longer since I'm not a local.
If you were turned off by Sea World before, come try again!!! Sea World has has changed for the better! Plus, you're helping to support to sea animals who's dying fast in our world!

Sea World is a marine lovers Disneyland. Plenty of shows and attractions geared towards the whole family. My favorite show that we caught was the Sea Lions on “TV” show. I think my least favorite was the Water “Circus” Show. A few tips: Find discounted tickets online; parking is $15, Get there early so you can catch all the shows. Finally if you plan on eating in the park get the All You Can Eat Wristband which will save you a few dollars.

Sea World is a great park for everyone. There's different rides, exhibits and shows. If you've got extra moolah, you can get a personal experience with Dolphin interaction program which I think is their most popular personal experience.
During a hot day, I love that Shamu can literally cool you off with one splash of that pool water. My favorite show is Pets Rule. They sure do.
