Located inside the Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage Spa & Salon is home to a group of rescued Dolphins, and you can workout with these sea creatures in a 60 minute yoga class held in the underwater dolphin viewing room. In this room it offers yogis of all skill levels a serene atmosphere that brings fourth a sense of peace and relaxation in a truly unique atmosphere. The viewing room offers its guests an intimate viewing of the dolphins as they move from one pose to another. Not a bad way to spend an hour exercising!

As a loyal Mirage customer, I really enjoy having this mini-zoo at the hotel, it's a great way to spend the morning (which in Vegas is just after lunch) and kill some time before hitting the tables. If you have kids with you, even better! I especially enjoyed the big cats area, those are some amazing animals.

The secret is that, about once a week, Roy Horn comes to visit the white tiger that mauled him. They changed it's name, for obvious reasons.

I would have to say that the dolphin habitat was undoubtedly one of my favorite things along the Las Vegas strip.

As a kid I remember going with my parents to the Mirage and checking out the white tigers and as vague as it was I remembered it was magical!
Coming back to it, they had changed the indoor garden into a restaurant and moved everything outdoors!
The garden is quite small, and actually about 10 minutes your pretty much done!
Paying $18 per adult is probably not worth it, unless you never been to Sea world or something, but you do get a slight closer look of the White tigers and lions oh and dolphins!

Its always amazing to see wildlife especially when its rare!

It was okay. The dolphin habitat was not doing performances but we got to see them be fed. The lions were sleeping in their cages.

I haven't been here since Sigfried and Roy were still performing live in Vegas, but frm what I remember this is a great place to see Dolphins, Tiger and Lions - oh my! But seriously, if you want to see white tigers or white lions outside for less than 1 ticket at a vegas show then this is the place.

Nice display of large cats and the dolphins. Nice, but short, demonstration was given with the dolphins while we were there. This was included as part of a multi-place admission ticket purchased... was worth stopping by using it, but I don't think I'd pay money just to see this.

This is the place to go if you want to have an experience "communing" with wildlife and nature. It's where MOST of the animals who performed with Siegfried and Roy will live out their lives, with the BEST CARE that these two wonderful men can provide. Some days, you can even FIND Siegfried and Roy AT the Garden doing what you are doing--enjoying the peace and quiet and spending time with the animals. I've been there quite often while visiting Las Vegas and plan to do so the next time I can.

Not many people go there, but it is worth squeezing in. Take plenty of pictures you will remember the rest of your life. Shake hands with a dolphin lately?

I love animals so this is a great place to go without having to travel far (like for the zoo). You get to see things here that you don't usually see other places right downtown. I even got to see Sigfried and Roy, who were there for their elephant's birthday party.

I loved the Sigfried and Roy habitat located within the Mirage Hotel and Casino on the Vegas Strip.

What was so great about this experience is that you are very close to the dolphins. It's almost like you've gone to a public pool and you can stand right next to the pool and look into it, but just not jump in. It's a fantastically close distance for interaction with the Dolphins. Also, there's stairs down to a room that looks into the Dolphin pool for a different viewpoint.

Also, at this habitat were some beautiful large cats like lions and panthers. Such a great experience that's a bit expensive, but worth the money in the end. Luckily, we won enough to pay for our tickets on the way out, so technically we saw the dolphins for free.

Beautiful setting. Very tranquil and the vegetation is amazing. The dolphins seem quiet happy. There are always crowds no matter what time you go and hundreds of kids and strollers, so think twice about paying $20 bucks to walk around with soccer mommies, families, crying babies in strollers and Oriental tourists taking pictures of everything in sight!

Description

Panthers, leopards and elephants, oh my! These are just some of the animals in the tropical environment created at the Mirage Hotel Casino. Also not to be missed is the Dolphin Habitat, where you can observe the fascinating sea mammals.
