Good Filipino food! It's a casual eatery good for small groups (and I've heard from friends it makes a decent a first date place...though that could be Greenbelt in genera)l. Outdoor seating means you can people watch. I've liked everything I've eaten here, but Sinigang na Corned Beef is what they're known for. It sounds like an odd thing, but it's not the canned corned beef you might picture; it's actually organic short ribs in the soup, if I'm not mistaken. Try it!

They are popular because of their Sinigang na Corned Beef. Who would think that corned beef would go with this native sour soup? But it worked! whenever you order this popular Soup they will first let you try some of it to make sure the sourness is up to your taste otherwise they change the consistency depending on your feedback. I would also recommend their catfish salad. Yummy!

Sentro bills itself as a modern Filipino cuisine restaurant. If you know Filipino cuisine, you can tell that there is a little fusion action going on, but thank God, the Filipino identity remains intact.
The specialty of the house is Sinigang na Corned Beef. Corned beef short ribs in tamarind broth, chock full of vegetables is what this dish delivers. When ordered, they ask how sour you want it, then gives you a sample in a cup to try. I wanted it ultra sour, but sadly, they couldn't ratchet it up a few more notches to satisfy my taste.
For the adventurous, try the beef binagoongan, which are short ribs stewed in shrimp paste. You can say it's a baby version of surf and turf...or not.
To finish your meal, order a halo halo, a concoction of ten assorted sweets covered in a mound of shaved ice and topped with leche flan. I'll be back; there are too many other items to try!
