This "eco" friendly camp is perfect for those looking to "rough" it without really "roughing" it.
This mobile camp is situated in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. The camp offers comfortable tents and does a great job eliminating the human foot print. Each guest is allowed on 20 liters per day of water for showering etc and solar power is your only source of electricity in your tent.
However with this being said, the tents are very comfortable and offer all the comforts of home. Considering you are in the middle of the Serengeti, they do an amazing job putting together some great dining options and you will not starve!
There is also a small bar for those needing a refreshing drink after a long day of touring around the bush. The camp also has a nice open fire pit where you can relax and meet interesting people from all over the world.
I am lucky enough to have traveled to Africa 8 times and this safari camp is definitely one of my favorites!
