This is Santa Rosa's big secret, but it's incredible. Go on the early trip, as more animals are out in the morning hours.
- Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk400 Beach Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060recommended Santa Cruz Beach BoardwalkSanta Cruz's Beach Boardwalk has a rustic, back-in-the-day feel. If you have kids, it's a must-go to place. Or if they're a kid in you. ;)Francis Tapon
Sorry for recommending Santa Cruz instead of Santa Rosa! I goofed! I can't figure out how to remove or replace this recommendation, so here's just a note: Go to Calistoga Hot Springs! It's only about 15-20 minutes away from Santa Rosa. It's a great place to relax. Bonus tip: if you're going in the opposite direction, go to Bodega Bay. Bodega Bay is site of Alfred Hitchcock's 1961 movie: "The Birds".
