Hands down, this is the best rooftop terrace in an area full of rooftop terraces. It feels like the highest vantage point, with unbelievable views of Hagai Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Golden Horn. The desserts were among the highlights of our trip and the waiters were incredibly nice- always willing to take a picture or offer a blanket if it got cold.Recommended for:

A rooftop with a view and a half! The restaurant has a 360 view of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the lovely seascape on the other side. It towers over other buildings and you can see the restaurant as you approach from Hagia Sophia. The restaurant is open to all so worth a visit even if you’re not staying here. The hotel itself feels quality throughout – probably not as fancy as the Four Seasons next door but also probably about a third of the price! Despite being a 30 second walk from the Hagia Sophia it’s on a really quiet street with hardly any traffic.
(For history buffs it’s worth noting that the rooftop also has unrivalled views of the excavated palace next door. I was intrigued when I saw the site which is mostly boarded up but apparently excavations have been a stand still for years.)Recommended for:

Wow. Seven Hills has simply the BEST view in greater Sultanahmet Area. Either this or you rent a helicopter which is not the same thing. If you are in the Old Peninsula, you at least have to dine in the restaurant to enjoy the overwhelming dual grandeur of Hagia Sophia & the Blue Mosque, especially after nightfall. The room rates are not surprising compared to other hotels in the area but at least what you see is what you get. Highly recommended from March on, across the whole ‘high season’.Recommended for:

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I had dinner in the restaurant. Although the seafood menu was stellar, we were there for the view, which overlooks the water, the Hagia Sofia, and the Blue Mosque. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Reservations are recommended.Recommended for:
