Sevruga Restaurant

V & A Waterfront, Cape Town, South Africa
4.5
6 reviews

I was a little nervous entering Sevruga. The V&A Waterfront restaurant is huge, and the larges menu is all over the place--sushi, Asian tapas, classic seafood, etc. But the seafood is perfectly prepared and the service is phenomenal. A notch above many of the waterfront restaurants.

Your basic high end mall. Why come to South Africa to go mall shopping? There are a few craft centers and food emporiums in the vicinity that are worth visiting. Also, the departure point for the ferry to Robben Island is close to the Victoria Wharf Mall.

Tacky, expensive and self-conscious. Very little to recommend it. Try the red and blue barns instead.

Yes, it's four statues, but it's a part of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and if nothing else it's a good meeting point. But wait, did you know that South Africa is the home to 10 Nobel Laureates? Yup! So, go there and pay your tributes to guys like Nelson Mandela who made this country you are visiting a country ...

I rank this aquarium up there with Monterey Bay and my boyfriend, who isn't a sentimental Californian, reckons that it is even better. The exhibits are all very well done and the facility is really nicely laid out. There is a fantastic shark tank and the seals provide seemingly endless entertainment. It's right there at the Waterfront so combining this ...

Provided it isn't socked in with fog, Table Mountain makes a great half-day activity. I liked hiking up the challenging India Venster route, having a coffee at the cafe on top, then taking the cableway down. Some days the cableway closes due to wind but most hotels and backpackers have or can get the current conditions for you before you ...
