19/20; Rooms 10/10, Facilities+dining 4/5, Service 5/5. Set around one of the most stunning beaches on Mahe island (and there are quite a few to choose from!) the location makes for half the reason to stay here. The 2nd best reason are the modern, thoughtfully designed villas. Spacious, but not enormous compared to equivalents elsewhere, they have been well-laid out, ...Popular with

I went to La Villa as I wanted a quiet and less expensive place. This turned out to be a great selection. La Villa is a self catering hotel. This private island paradise positively defines luxury. Incredibly expensive, Fregate is arguably worth every penny and you won't find another resort in the Seychelles that can top Fregate, for either comfort or style. The natural beauty of Fregate is astounding, the fantastic spa treatments are focused around locally derived oils, the food is delicious and the rooms are sheer bliss.

A great place to relax and get away from it all. The beach of Anse Forbans is one of the best beaches in my eyes in the Seychelles and great for snorkelling. The chalets are well equipped and right on the beach.

Soo expensive, you can easily spend $70 on sub-par meal. Staff members at the reception can also be quite rude and not very helpful. Only great thing is its right on the beach, which is beeeautifulll. Great pool too. Small functional gym for light exercising
