I’m a California Girl who LOVES an In-N-Out Cheeseburger Burger and Fries. BUT now... Shake Shack is my #1. The fir sttime I came I ordered the ‘Shroom Burger- Fried Portobello mushroom filled with melted Muenster and cheddar cheese, topped with lettuce, tomato, and Shack Sauce. OMG the ‘Shroom Burger is my new favorite burger! The second time I decided to try the famous the Shake Shack Burger and Cheese Fries. The Shake Shack Burger was perfectly cooked and juicy… came with American cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and their famous Shack Sauce. The Cheese Fries is topped with a Cheddar Cheese Sauce Soo Yummy! The line at this place can get crazy but don’t let that scare you off… it moves pretty fast.Recommended for

The burgers are so good and this park is the perfect spot to have an outdoor lunch. It is frustrating that the wait is so long but check the webcam on their website before you go, it helps!

Known as the best burger in New York City, you owe it to yourself to stand at the endless line at least once. While I don't think the burgers or fries are worth the half an hour wait on line, the experience of eating in the park overlooking the Flatiron Building, after you've 'earned' your meal is priceless. Bring your furry friend along, there's a doggy menu as well!

It's cold. It just stormed and the snow melted away from the landscape. I'm in line, shaking in my boots, for a Shack Stack, cheese fries and a concrete with the hubby and our NYC host friends. Its an experience I will never forget. It was totally worth the wait at this iconic burger joint in NYC.
The Shack Stack oozed out cheesy goodness at first bite. Foodgasmic. A fried mushroom filled with cheese was the ultimate topping. It put the basic cheeseburger out of business. Loved every bite.
Come to the Madison Square Park location. Shake Shack emerged from just a small hot dog stand at this park! A must-do NYC experience for foodies.

This fast food experience offers a change of pace and is somewhat atypical for NYC. A long line forms at lunch time for this kiosk in the park, where the food is made to order. The burgers, fruit beverages, and milkshakes are enjoyable and of good quality. Finding a table can be a challenge, but there are park benches in the area.

The lines here are absolutely ridicules sometimes...the food is great, I love it. Sometimes I get my burger and Chicago style dog...sometimes I come for just a concrete...however if the line is too long I'll go somewhere else to eat nearby...plus they have opened up a number of new locations in the city that get nowhere as busy and they get plenty busy...
