Shake Shack - Madison Square Park

Inside a park is not where one would expect to find a tasty hamburger and shake place. But learn to expect the unexpected! The shakes and burgers are both very tasty, and fairly priced to boot!

Best flea market in Manhattan! Enter the garage and find two full floors of great stuff. Lots of vintage fashion, jewelry, housewares, and furniture, as well as photos, magazines, and toys. We spent over two hours here and didn't even notice. We scored some French 1920s magazine art and a vintage Coach bag for next to nothing. Awesome!

This dimly lit bar/restaurant isn't called L'Amant (lover) for nothing. Its intimate feel seductively decorated with Chinoiserie wallpaper takes you back either to Paris' charming bistros or to Shanghai's French Concession in the 1930s and its painted beautiful girls. Perfect for a date or for an isolated hideout. The complimentary truffle popcorn is to die for, while the mochi ice ...

If you're longing for the suburbs, this is the theater for you. Manhattan-prices notwithstanding, this giant multiplex feels like anywhere USA, even though it's in the middle of New York City. This is a great theater to go to in the middle of a sweltering summer day, thanks to their ice-cold air-conditioning and basic but good refreshment options. Just don't ...

Primarily a commercial production space but hosts some of the better events and exhibitions in the city. Very popular with the fashion set. The gallery space itself isn't particularly large and is only as impressive as the exhibition or crowd that it draws.

I love the Russian & Turkish Baths on 10th Street! I've been going to this East Village institution for almost a decade and have enjoyed their food and services religiously. Some have complained that the place is "small" or "dirty" compared to some of the newer Korean spas, but to these people I say, "you're an idiot!" I would describe ...

They range from terrible to decent, but going to a game is never a bad time. MSG is always (at least mildly) entertaining, and fans are pretty devoted (at least some).

This is a great wine bar and I completely agree with the previous review; you can't beat the location on Irving. The wine selection is quite good and they also have lots of yummy, easy-to-share appetizers, making this a perfect place for late-afternoon drinks with friends, while also ensuring that you won't leave feeling either horribly famished or horribly drunk. ...

I really like this little consignment shop. It's very tiny and you have to sift through, but I feel like I always find some hidden gem when I am in there.
