    Shark's Bay

Less overbuilt than nearby Na'ama Bay, a better choice for a relaxing day by the sea. Pick a good resort and park. There is a nice reef here with good snorkeling.

Some of the best diving in the world. Pick a sight that fits your capabilities. The range of options here is incredible. Even the snorkeling is gorgeous. A great place to get certified.

As a qualified diver, my first visit to Sharm el-Sheikh was all about the diving!!! And with Blue Lagoon I was not disappointed: great dive guides & staff, beautiful boats, relaxing day. Na'ama Bay

Painfully overbuilt. This is the center of the action in "Sharm" but is far from a beach paradise. May appeal to the hard core party crowd but the underwater beauty is long gone and you'll need to look to the horizon to find tranquility.

If you're an avid diver, don't stay in the sandbox with endless all in resorts...go on a live aboard. You'll be diving up to 4 times a day, on spots where dayboats can't reach. Night dives on Thistlegorm, loads of pristine wrecks, most of the times you're going to be the only ones diving. Tornado's Whirlwind with Deacon an Sarah ...

High quality dive operation connected to the Four Seasons. This is where we chose to do our open water certification and we were very happy with the quality of the instructors, equipment, and the attractiveness / convenience of the location itself. Prices here are a bit on the high side -- to get the most out of your vacation, consider ...

    Observatory Lounge

If there were one publicly-accessible spot in Sharm where you are likely to run into Gulf royalty, this is it. Very swank with lovely views of the sea. The vibe is very relaxed and it isn't very crowded but this spot is Sheikh chic.
