Hotel is great for the price, comfy beds and pillows, enough space, complimentary mineral water and breakfast, an amazing view and outstanding service. Restaurant not so good. Food doesn't keep up with the prices, 2 star quality for a $$$ price, service is still great

It's clear that this hotel has been here for a long time, which is a blessing and a problem. While it clearly gets plenty of use, it does seem to be a little outdated in places. The elevators made me a little nervous, but I'm sure they are perfectly safe. The exterior of the building seems more from my parent's generation, and so do some if the carpets and decorations inside. These are mostly superficial problems, but I know that means something to luxury travelers.

If you are planning on visiting Dallas with your family or to visit one of the many conventions happening in the adjoining center, then this is a perfectly good place for you and yours. But if you want to impress your business colleagues or treat yourself to something nice, then there are plenty of other hotels in the area to serve that purpose.

I do think the hotel could use a few upgrades, but they are probably too busy dealing with their constant stream of guests to get a makeover.

This is my retreat during the Dallas Margarita Ball. Despite the ball being an all-encompassing, raucous event, the staff handles everything to perfection. Even from the street, you don't quite grasp how huge this hotel is but it lends itself to support an event of that size while simultaneously allowing a peaceful reprieve from the revelry. I had a twin queen guest room and it was nice and spacious. There are a few dining options onsite including a Peet’s Coffee & Tea, the Kitchen Table Restaurant and Lounge, Draft Media Sports Lounge (there are few other places I’d rather watch a big game), and the Chill dessert bar. When it comes to location, the Sheraton is right in the midst of it all. Out of towners don’t really need a car to navigate parts of downtown from here.

This place was a fun place to stay. I've stayed here multiple times and always had good experiences. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They have on-site self parking as well as valet and are located painfully close to the DART, the local light-rail, which makes getting to the convention center and back a quick trip. The pool is open 24 hours, which made for some eventful happenings at large events...

A very large very nice Sheraton that has been recently remodeled. It's pretty much like every other recently remodeled Sheraton of its size (really big conference hotel). It's close to the Dallas Arts District and to other parts of downtown, but on the whole, the neighborhood is pretty dead and weird, especially if you are there on the weekends or after all the office workers have gone home.
