This hotel is in a great location- close proximity to the Petronas towers and to some of the largest shopping malls. You have your pick of restaurants and places to visit around this hotel. The rooms are very simple and a little dated, but good enough. The staff is helpful when asked for something and the club lounge is good, but not great. This is great for business, but not as great for a pure vacation.Recommended for:Business Travelers

I like this hotel because it's right by an LRT stop, it has classy lobbies, good rooms, and a beautiful pool. We found the staff easy to talk to as well. I've seen a couple of best hotels in Kuala Lumpur lists and I don't see many people including this one, but I would. There are large lounging four poster beds by the pool with neck pillows and the option of curtains for shade. Medan Tuanku, the monorail station that The Sheraton is less than one minute away from, is also the station to take to get to Heritage Row. In the last three years the area has begun to turn dilapidated shops and homes into places to eat and go out at night. It's cool to see these places preserved and turned into restaurants rather than torn down and built on top of.
The Sheraton also has places to eat. There's an Italian place by the pool as well as an impressive looking Chinese place.
Some may be put off by the location, but the city is not all that large, and with the monorail, there's no need to stay where all the other hotels are.

This is one of the hotel which is really different from the others because as you enter there is an area where several computers are there for the patrons to use. The front entrance is like all the other hotels with a reception and there is too many welcoming doorman as you enter. The front lobby is small but this place need some exploration once you are here as it is actually a very unique structure at the back of the hotel where you can see the whole setting of the hotel. The swimming pool is quite nice with thick towels. The restaurant is really nice as you can view it from the top view as you walk to the back from the lobby. The rooms are comfortable and neatly done. There is also a small area in between stairs which looks like a resting area for the ancient kings from China which is actually one of the seating for the Chinese section of the restaurant. The hotel is actually located near Heritage Row which is one of the most happening places for young people to go clubbing in Kuala Lumpur. There is many people during Friday and Saturday.
