Not my favorite, but then again, I normally do not like hotels and certainly not chain hotels. Initially, they tried to stick us in a room on the third floor with a view of absolutely nothing. We got the room changed to a falls view room for 50 bucks a night extra. The rooms smelled horrible to me. The carpeting and furnishing are extremely dated. I suppose these things are to be expected in a town as touristy as Niagara. The view allowed us to watch a fireworks show right from our room. The staff was very pleasant, however, I got the feeling that most of them were college students on break, a little inexperienced and unsophisticated, but helpful none the less. This is a great hotel for people who just want to be as close to the falls as possible with a nice view.Recommended for:

It would be just another Sheraton hotel if not for the amazing view of the falls both American and Canadian. Get the room on a high floor with the Falls view and you are not going to want to leave the room.

Sure, it's a Sheraton. But - it's on the 'cool side' of Niagara Falls. Which, it so happens, is the Canadian side (so bring your passports if you're arriving from the U.S.) The property is pretty extensive - about 650 rooms in all. But so far as hotel amenities go, it's got some great selling points - not the least of which are spectacular views of the falls from their "Fallsview" rooms, an indoor waterpark and a restaurant that has an 80-foot long buffet.
