- Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim ResortSep 25, 2012
This hotel has two dining options on its grounds - one being a standard bar and grill and the other being a Morton’s Steakhouse. The bar and grill is a good option for a casual dining experience before either returning to your room or going out to Disneyland after lunch. Morton’s on the other hand is something all people should experience. It churns out the greatest steaks anywhere in the world and is a perfect place to use the excuse “I’m on vacation, let’s have a nice dinner.” Having a high-end steakhouse on its property suits the Sheraton. When you enter the lobby you get the sense of just how grand this hotel is. And with grandness comes serious expectations that were met in the form of a perfect room. They had a modern yet present feel to them and all had a balcony. It’s also within walking distance to Disneyland.
- Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim ResortFirst to ReviewSep 11, 2012
It was great to be in a resort hotel so close to Disneyland. Most of the hotels in the vicinity were two or three stories with small pools. The Sheraton felt like a resort with its grand lobby, plush lobby bar and seating area, lush forest greens in the center and a nice pool. The fitness center is open 24 hours and all of the equipment seemed very new. There was everything from cardio equipment to free weights and balance balls available.
The room was comfortable, nice linens, comfortable bed. And there was a gift shop and small store in the hotel for candy, snacks and drinks if you run out of supplies. Our bellman was very nice, as was most of the employees we came in contact with. The two front desk employees were less than stellar. The front desk people were terse – not quite rude, but short spoken and not overly friendly. Overall a great place, but the front desk agent, who was a supervisor, can leave a bad taste in your mouth.
