Even though this isn't a hip boutique hotel, it still ranks pretty high in the cool hotels category. I requested a room in the new tower and got hooked up with a room on the Starwood Preferred Guest floor (the 25th floor), with a sweeping view of downtown a glimpse of some water. My room was nicely appointed - it was very spacious, with a desk that faced out to the view, a king bed that was so comfy I could have slept in it all day and a great bathroom with Bliss products.
The location was totally central - Flagship Nordstrom down the street, Pike Place Market a few blocks away, a $5 cab ride to the bars in Capitol Hill... an ideal hotel for business travelers and first time visitors.
I didn't make use of the renovated fitness center or indoor pool, but it was nice to know that it was available had I been motivated to get out of the comfy bed early and work off all the extra calories I consumed during my visit.
I got a great deal on Expedia for two nights stay here.Recommended for:

Great hotel. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
Across the street from the Washington Athletic Club. I'd recommend dropping in for a day pass and working out there instead of the Sheraton gym.

The Sheraton doesn't dissapoint! Classy, excellent customer service and you can usually get a fantastic rate on rooms through priceline.com
I have stayed here are few times for weddings that are downtown and it's so easy to get around the city from this location. They have a huge area to pull in and unload your bags, which is nice so people are not honking at you in the busy Seattle streets. It's across the street from Cheesecake Factory and Nike town if those are your fancy but it's also a stones throw away from EVERYTHING else in Seattle.
The pool here isnt huge but the windows are massive and it's located on a high floor which makes going for a dip feel rather VIP :)
A solid choice for a hotel in the city!

This hotel is in the heart of Downtown Seattle! Everything like stores and restaurants are in walking distance which is always good! The rooms are nice and have great views of the city! The rooms in general are nice with friendly staff members. There are restaurants in the hotel, but I think that the restaurants outside the hotel is better. I would stay here again!

The location of the Sheraton is awesome if you’re planning on working or hanging out downtown, because you can walk to pretty much everything. It’s really close to the convention center and all the malls like Pacific Place Center, as well as tons of restaurants. You’re only six blocks from Pike Place Market, and from there you can just take the elevator down to the waterfront to get to the aquarium and the ferry terminal. The hotel itself is exactly what you would expect from a Sheraton - nice, very clean, really helpful staff.
They do host a lot of conventions and meetings, so depending on when you stay it might be pretty crowded (which means you might need to wait a minute or so for an elevator sometimes). Some of the rooms, even the cheaper ones, have really nice views of the city. They offer pet-friendly rooms too.

I have stayed here on multiple occasions for business. Great hotel in the center of downtown Seattle. Large, bustling lobby - great for people watching. The restaurant (name?) is great. Good food in a comfortable atmosphere (try the thick cut pork chops - yum!). I travel alone on biz and felt quite comfortable eating alone in the restaurant.
From the hotel, it is easy access to the monorail, shopping, walking distance to Pike Place and other site-seeing areas. Rooms are clean and well appointed - typical "Sheraton" style rooms with no surprises. The gym is very nice - has great views of the city and water to look out while you work out!Recommended for:

After staying 8 nights in a row at this Sheraton for a work event, I feel quite comfortable in my review of this hotel (I should add that I stayed here 3 other times throughout the past 12 months too!).
This Sheraton has two towers (how, LOTR, I know.....). Although the older tower has slightly larger rooms, I prefer the newly remodeled tower that has sleeker and more modern rooms.
The service is ok but the lobby is fantastic. Free WiFi and usage of their PCs, comfy couches, and these VERY cool surface table computers that are touch screen (made by MicroSoft and featured in a handful of Sheraton Hotels). I also really appreciate their up front commitment to sustainability and being-green with an incentive program to reduce water, etc.
Conveniently located in downtown Seattle, it was really easy to jump across to the Washington Trade Convention Center for my work events.
The Daily Grill is located inside the hotel and has decent Happy Hour deals. And yes, I spent many hours reconnecting with colleagues in their lobby bar. :)
On a side note, I accidentally left one of my diamond stud earrings on the counter in my room. I didn't' realize it until I was at the airport. However, when I called, they sent housekeeping upstairs to check if it was there. Yay for honest people because they found my earring that my mother had given me. BUMMER because they were going to charge the shipping of the earring to me. When I've left items in hotels before, they've always shipped them to me free of charge. Eh, but what matters most is that I'll get my earring back :)
Over all, very pleasant hotel and staff!
