People are nice and it's green everywhere. I loved living there. The o nly draw back is the winters. I don't care for all that snow.

Cary is very peaceful and scenic. I had a very nice business trip and everyone I met was very friendly. They seem to roll up the sidewalks at night though, not a lot going on.

This is one of the greatest little, southern towns. I grew up here and to this day, it feels like you've stepped into the 1950's when you're walking in downtown Southern Pines. There's a cute, old train station in the middle of town that was recently restored. If you like golf or horses, this is the place for you.

Nice town, but geared more toward college kids as opposed to adults. UNC has a beautiful campus. Duke's campus is very Ivy-leaguish, with a lot of old buildings.
