This quiet HDB estate is enjoying a revival as boutiques and cafes open up. Tiong Bahru Bakery is just one of its latest eateries. This popular cafe is set up by a French baker Gontran Cherrier. Good place to relax over coffee and croissants!Popular withFoodiesTrendstersLocal

I spoke for ...
This new outlet of Dean Brettschneider's famous bakery serves up excellent breads, pastries, tartines and breakfast fare. Indoor seating is limited but there are a few outdoor tables. Serves coffee, tea, and freshly squeezed juice. My mozzarella, tomato and pesto tartine was simple but exceptionally flavorful. Savory vegetarian options are limited as most incorporate ham or bacon.Popular withVegetarian
