Sir Toby's Hostel

Delnicka 24 | Praha 7, Prague 170 00, Czech Republic

I stayed at Sir Toby's longer than the average hosteler, and during the course of my time, I always felt welcome. A wide range of room sizes, no curfew, under the bed lockers, and clean bed linens. Wonderful food and bar in the basement. And beautiful patio.

This restaurant is 100% gluten-free. Being gluten-free, I'm always afraid that I won't be able to get a real feel for the local food while I travel, but here I could! Amazing. The food was very good. We even ordered bread from here and picked it up before we left Prague so I could have some bread to eat when ...

Awesome restaurant, with a sister restaurant in the city. Really interesting dishes we eat kosher and it's the best solution for a few days of meatless eats..

A traditional Czech restaurant in the city center that won't drain your wallet. Great beer hall atmosphere with basic Czech food. The beer is amazing and when you want another one just wave down the waiters walking around with trays full of them. As for food the steak tartare is excellent.

    U Medvídků

1.91 mi from Sir Toby's Hostel
    3 reviews

Hidden on a winding street in the center of Prague, this centuries old beer hall/pub is about as authentically Czech as it gets. Yes, you'll find tourists here, but you'll also find a ton of locals; this is not, by any means, a tourist trap. They cater to locals and have refused to change that. Grab a table in the ...

    Bakeshop Praha

Great place for Breakfast, Lunch or just a reviving tea/coffee. Bakeshop situated in the Jewish quarter a ewe minutes walk from the Town Sqaure. Fantastic fresh baked goods piled high in this amazing little bakery. We went for breakfast and went back the next two days as well. I am sure there are cheaper places but this bakery is outstanding.

U Sudu is a bit like an iceberg. The tiny bar that is visible from the street does not hint at the charming, cavernous cellars that lie beneath. Bring your spelunking gear though, cause the cellars just keep going down. There is a bar at the very bottom to reward your bravery, which is why U Sudu is the best.

This a very nice restaurant with typical Czech food - meat & potatoes/dumplings. Not a touristy place. Friendly wait staff and clean bathrooms. The meal was not that expensive and the beer is very good (according to my nephew who lives here, since we don't drink beer).

    Bohemia Bagel

2.43 mi from Sir Toby's Hostel

I thought this place was mediocre at best. The bagels are always old and stale. It takes about 2 hours to eat there because everyone who speaks English in Prague comes there hungover. I would recommend just going to a grocery store to buying your own food. Or better yet if you are in Prague on a Saturday, go to ...

This restaurant is great especially for students and backpackers and budget travelers! When I was studying in Prague this was often the restaurant of choice for my friends and I. The restaurant ambiance is cosy, especially in Winter. They serve up cheap and hearty traditional Czech food for a very reasonable price!

Italian in Prague? I know, it seems almost wrong. The freshest ingredients, friendly staff and owner (he speaks fluent English, visiting his relatives in Florida yearly), and a great dining experience speak for themselves, though; elegant with a touch of down-home Czech hospitality-- that doesn't sound so bad, does it now? The cuisine is innovative and inspired, everything is just ...

Lived for a year in Prague and this was hands down my favorite restaurant. Outside the main city area but easily accessed by metro. This place serves authentic, hearty, delicious Czech food. Walk through the smokey bar and make eye contact with a waiter. Some English is spoken here but only begrudgingly. But relax, know that once you get a ...
