Sirkeci Mansion is a very popular hotel. I was told by the reception that they receive reservations continuously and remain full from May to August. Considering the service, the overall atmosphere and how exquisite the hotel is, they truly deserve this popularity and more.
As reflected by its very name and evident from its façade, Sirkeci Mansion is converted from an old Ottoman house as tastefully as possible. The ebony-brown and beige palette that colours the lobby and the hotel is delightful, so is the furniture and objects that lend the lobby its authentic atmosphere.
Sirkeci Mansion has a full-fledged health club. The hammam, the sauna and massage rooms are all there. The hotel’s terrace restaurant (opens late May) overlooks Gulhane park and is ideal for spending long hours dining. The staff is fantastic - despite their young age they are very very knowledgeable and treat you like royals.
Sirkeci Mansion is an elegant hotel whose every detail is thought carefully. Highly recommended to travellers who are in search of a place with spirit!Recommended for:

Set on a quiet cobbled street that’s closed to traffic and opposite Gulhane Park, the Sirkeci Mansion (or Konak) really feels like an oasis of calm after walking around the manic streets of Istanbul. The staff are incredibly friendly and you feel like they genuinely care about guests. There are nice extra touches that make it feel thoughtful and quality, such as umbrellas that guests can use by the main door. It’s a historical wooden building refurbished in a stylish and classic way, but still contains the mod cons, such as a small pool, sauna, hamam (Turkish bath), massage room and small gym. It also has a restaurant attached (apparently highly revered by local foodies) and a roof terrace overlooking the park. It's within walking distance (and is actually part of) the old city with sights stretching right back to Byzantium within walking distance!Recommended for:

If ever in Istanbul again, I would stay at the Sirkeci Konak without a second thought. I loved the location…it’s close enough to walk to all the Old City sights, or to the Spice Bazaar and Galata Bridge in the other direction, with plenty of shops and restaurants sprinkled around it as well. The hotel itself is a haven in the middle of the city turbulence – elegant and cool, with every amenity one could hope for. With a large hamam, pool and sauna in the hotel, soothing yourself after exploring the city is convenient and pleasurable. The staff are helpful, and their fluent English made up for my lack of Turkish very well. The rooftop terrace restaurant has views of the city beyond, and the room looked out over Gulhane Park with its cool, tree-lined pathways. Last, but not least, the room was welcoming and comfortable, with elegance in every detail.Recommended for:

Located just a minute away from its sister hotel, Hotel Ilkay, the Sirkeci Konak Hotel is modeled after old Ottoman konaks (similar to a bed a breakfast). From the exterior woodwork to the marbleized paintings, the hotel prides itself on offering the same hospitality and environment that was offered by the konaks of the past. The lobby is covered in beautiful Anatolian carpets, textiles, and intricate woodwork. There is also a lounge and restaurant, Neyzade, which serves traditional Turkish food. The rooms are incredibly warm and inviting. They build upon the konak theme with soft beds, gorgeous carpets, marbleized paintings accenting the walls, and the same woodwork seen throughout the hotel. I highly recommend staying at this delightful and inviting konak!

Great hotel to discover Istanbul. Perfect location in the middle of everything, you can actually look at the Hagia Sofia and the Topkapi Palace. The rooms are rather small but Istanbul is such a fantastic city that you will spend minimal time in your room. The Spa is nice and the typical foam massage is a must. The staff is super friendly and will organize everything, the restaurant is good as well.
