    Andres Carnes de Res

This is the best place on earth... ok, close. The food is delicious, you get greeted at the door with a shot inside a scooped out lime. The atmosphere makes for a great party. Highly recommend!

    Porcão Ipanema

    8 reviews

I thought "brazilain barbeque" was just something we'd made up in the US, but here it is, just like I've seen in other countries but much better. It's not just a treat for tourists either since plenty of locals come here.

    Brujas de Cachiche

Great place for a variety of Peruvian food. Given how much the Lima dining scene has blown up these past few years, I have a sneaking suspicion that this restaurant isn't so "cool" as it once was. I think it will stay as an oldie but a goodie. For a classic Lima dish they do well here, do the lomo ...

    Cicciolina

Cool place to come get tapas. Their pisco sour is good and strong. This place is Westernized and modern if that is what you are looking for. Try the Cuy (guinea pig)!

    Galeria dos Pães

    10 reviews

This bakery is one of the best in Sao Paulo to take away. They have a 24/7 buffet service upstairs that cuases people to line up outside, but honestly the buffet at Los Molinos which is just a couple of blocks away is much better. If you come here, do take away some of the bread, any kind. The cakes, ...

Very classy restaurant set in an old house. Bar in the back very cool too. I think they start serving dinner at 8, but get there before and have a drink so you'll secure a table.

    Pastelería San Antonio

    9 reviews

This posh bakery-slash-café-slash-deli franchise is one of my favorite places in the city. If you want to grab a bite, you come here. Do you want some coffee? Come here. Do you want to buy bread for your breakfast? Come here too! If you find yourself in that "I don't know what to eat" state of mind (as I usually ...

    Frangó

    7 reviews

Frangó may just be the farthest bar from anything in São Paulo, you'll probably will have to drive an hour to get there, no matter where you are, but it's absolutely worth it. Hidden in a residential neighborhood, right in front of the Nossa Senhora do Ó church, is this bar, that at first looks tiny, but hides a huge ...

    Forte de Copacabana

    8 reviews

The Forte de Copacabana sits at the mouth of the Guanabara Bay and was constructed in 1907 to protect Rio de Janeiro from a naval attack. I found the forte to be very interesting, and it is worth a visit while in Rio.

    Havanna Alfajores

The alfajor is a sweet treat, halfway between a biscuit and a cake, with lashings of dulce de leche, jam or mousse in the middle. The Havana brand is the oldest, most traditional brand of alfajor in Argentina, first set up in Mar Del Plata. There are thousands of Havana coffee shops all over Buenos Aires, but the Havana on ...

    Outback Steakhouse

    7 reviews

This is one of the busiest places to dinner in Porto Alegre. Always packed after 6-7PM, be sure to arrive early or you'll have to wait on line to eat, usually more than 30 mins, up to 1 or 2 hours in holidays. The food is great, very good meat, but a bit overpriced.

    Andres Carne de Res

One of my favorite restaurants on the planet. Unlike anywhere else. Well worth the hassle of getting there just make sure you don't do the driving. Part Sizzler, part rodeo, part South Beach night club. Down to earth and insanely fun. Just go!
