Hilton head is a really good place for families. You can go to the coligny beach and catch some waves, or shop at Island Girl and other little boutiques. I'd recommend going to Pool Bar Jim's if it's warm out. Sea pines is really fun! You can climb the lighthouse and look over the marsh. It's beautiful! Hilton head also ...

Arrogantly shabby.... and absent of the "overly" touristy city to the North. Terrific local shopping, family owned restaurants, funky bars and art galleries make up this quaint historical city called Pawleys Island.

It's a beach town area that is pretty much a part of Charleston, SC. Everything is well kept the bridge to get here is beautiful. We went here for a sailing trip in the middle of November and it was a beautiful day. There are a lot of seafood restaurants to pick from.

What a cool town. Used to business of Myrtle Beach. Was in Folly to speak at a conference on Leadership and Customer Service. Like the small town, nostalgic feel vs. commercialization of Myrtle. Pleasantly surprised.

Stopped by the Angel Oak on our way back from visiting the Firefly Vodka Distillery. This is the most amazing tree you will ever see. It is HUGE! Estimated to be over 500 years old, it is a rare treasure. http://angeloaktree.com/

There is nothing quite as beautiful as the Spanish moss draped oaks trees and a quiet horse drawn carriage ride through downtown Beaufort, South Carolina. This charming seaside town is one of the gems of not only the South, but of America. There is a reason why Coastal Living Magazine named Beaufort the Happy Seaside Town in 2013. Perfect for ...

I lived in Florence for 10 years now, and I can tell you that Florence is a great place to shop, but not a great place to live for a long time. Florence a great starting place to go visit charleston or savanna, but not a great place to live a long time.
