Great place to go for a little get away vacation or mini trip for the day. You can rent a golf cart, bike or you can bring your own bike for only $7 to pay at the Catalina Flyers that's the boat that we ride from Newport Beach to Catalina Avalon. Do some tours it's worth it.

I wish I knew more about the City of Malibu other than knowing the fact that it's an expensive city. It was a great drive on the hwy 1 passing the city. There are a few winery places and a musuem which is on my to-do list! It's the Getty Villa in Malibu. We in Los Angeles have a ...

    San Clemente

I've grown in and out of love with this surfer focused city. The beaches are great, but the town is a little shady. Tourists should head down Del Mar Street and finish off at the pier with apps at the Fishermans Grotto. (I believe that's the name.) The food isn't fantastic, but the view makes up for it.

Anaheim is a busy city, so many cars, long avenues, and things to do. My favorite being DISNEYLAND! There are many hotels, restaurants, and a lot of public transportation available because of the theme parks in the area, including Amtrak. Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, & California Adventure all within proximity.

    Simi Valley

    6 reviews

I really enjoyed visiting my family in Simi Valley. The air was free of smog, crisp in the morning and not too chilly at night. The plazas have every major business/chain and are very clean. The roads are well maintained and there's not much traffic. There are a few malls in the area, open space and gorgeous mountains.

Born in Santa Monica in 1954 and lived here until I was 20 years old and could not imagine a better place to grow up.
