    Santa Monica Farmers' Market

    35 reviews

This farmer's market has a lot of atmosphere and many vendors to choose from. The food and produce were delicious and met some nice people! Great live bands and a lot of smiling faces.

    Little Tokyo

    38 reviews

This is such a fun area to explore in LA. If you love Japanese culture, food, products, or most importantly HELLO KITTY, this is a must-see if you're in the area. The stores are so much fun to check out, lots of Japanese characters clothing and toys, cute female clothing (can get pricey!) and very authentic food. Be careful what ...

    Venice Farmer's Market

    3 reviews

Dinner is served! Or lunch or breakfast or your afternoon snack, for that matter. I usually stay in an Airbnb in Venice when I'm visiting LA, largely so I can eat my way through the very best farmer's market in the country. The berries are bursting with flavor, the break is fresh from the kilns, and the cheeses and honeys ...

    Anaheim Packing District

    2 reviews

Brand new foodie paradise. I really love their ambience and all the modern furnitures and design!!!! A mix of hipster and industrial interior. It use to be a packing district. I heard the owner also owns Camp. - Ice pop has a long ass line, but I feel like it's not really worth the wait. The pop is photogenic but ...

    Pasadena Farmers Market

    3 reviews

I try to make it to this Farmers' Market whenever possible, because my favorite "Sourdough Man" is here: Bezian's Bakery. This is some of the best sourdough I have ever found and he makes so many varieties! If you don't want a whole loaf, he sells minis of all the flavors for about $1.00 - $1.25 each.

    Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea

    29 reviews

Of my three favorite coffee brands that I seek out in all of my American travels (Stumptown. Blue Bottle and Intelligentsia), this one is by far the most elaborate. If you don't have 45 minutes to devote to a cup of coffee, then this is most certainly not the spot for you. The line alone at this particular cafe can ...

    Hollywood Farmers Market

    4 reviews

On Sundays from 8am-1pm, the Hollywood Farmers' Market is one of the biggest and baddest in the area. Here's my rundown of a typical haul: *What I buy* -Pluots in the summer. An amazing selection, and you can sample before you buy! From $2-3 per pound. -Plants for your DIY at-home garden, from herbs to produce, at amazing prices (generally ...

    El Matador State Beach

    11 reviews

It doesn't matter whether it's raining or sunny out. El Matador is always the kind of strange elemental planetary beauty that marvels in any light. Bring a blanket or explore the caves and hike the Malibu Coastline.

A short drive up the coast you'll find The Lake Shrine on Sunset Blvd. near Pacific Coast Hwy. Closed on Mondays I think. The gardens are meticulously tended-too by the devotees, mindfull, loving devotional service; pretty cool

    Trader Joe's

    1 review

I love this location of Trader Joe's! The employees are incredibly friendly, the place itself is well-lit, and the aisles are always stocked full of delicious goodies. Granted this location is smaller than a few other ones I have been to, but they have everything I need. The produce section immediately catches your eye when you walk it - good ...

    Whole Foods Market

    2 reviews

One of the best Whole Foods ive ever been too. They have great hot meals available- my favorite thing is that on Wednesday its a few dollars off per pound on the hot foods/salad bar, a really good deal for the quality. They also make delicious sandwiches and juice. The grocery store is similar to other Whole Foods- you can ...

    Super King Market

    2 reviews

The produce is cheaper than Asian markets, thus all my family members go here and come out with large bags of varous fresh fruits and veggies. I've only gone here for produce though, the meats don't look too great to me and neither does anything else except for their freshly made Pita rounds that are located in their small bakery ...

    Abbot Kinney Blvd

    48 reviews

One of my favorite places to be. Day or night, there's always something to do down here. Great eateries (Gjelina, Zinque, Lemonade), good coffe (Intellegentsia) and last but not least, shopping. Don't feel weird for people watching - you only watch because *they're* weird.

    Farmers Market

    50 reviews

A nice open market with tons of food stalls, fresh produce, and crafts and trinkets. It's often busy, though, and the food tent can be smelly and dirty - which is a little worrisome. But it's a nice place to check out at least once.
