SMU is my alma mater! These days it's rife worth construction but that just means the campus is growing and getting better. It's an honor to have a Presidential library on the yard. I'm a loyal and proud alum. Oh yeah, and we don't tailgate, we Boulevard.

I attended SMU from 2002-2006 to get a degree in Engineering Management, Information, and Systems. I also got a degree in Mathematics. SMU has a strong academic record. We also tote one of the nation's best greek systems. Students have the ability to get very involved even in their first year with all of the student government options. The campus is immaculate. It is all Georgian architecture. It has one several awards for prettiest campuses. SMU also sits in the heart of Dallas.
I strongly recommend this school, if you like awesome things. If you can't get into SMU, TCU is just down the road.

On-campus Meadows Museum houses one of the world's largest collections of Spanish Masters paintings. Free on Thursday's from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Free parking at all times. Accessible by DART from the Mockingbird Station stop (Red and Blue Lines). SMU Mustang football games played at Ford Stadium. Highly recommended option for traveling from throughout the Dallas area to the stadium located on campus (a 10-minute walk from the DART station). George W. Bush Presidential Library due to open in 2014.

This is one of the most beautiful campuses I have ever seen. My daughter attended a science summer camp here with access to many of the other programs and buildings during the event. The only down side is everything is widely spaced, parking areas are few and some of the students are reckless while driving around. Otherwise this is a very wonderful place to visit.

This is a truly beautiful campus. There are free student and public events here monthly. Take a stroll though the green campus and take in a fun event. Author David Sedaris enjoys doing readings here. It's a fun place to visit. It is also the future home of the controversial, George W. Bush Presidential library.
