The Spanish steps is full of charm and the grand stairs with the church on top are beautiful to behold. From here you can walk to lots of destinations in Rome and it's a great first stop for a walking tour of the old city.

Each time I visit Rome I never fail to go to this spot. First its fun to people watch, next its right next to the fashionable streets of Via Condotti and Via Del Curso just need to watch out for pickpockets :)

This is a great place to rest your legs, have a picnic, and watch the people go by in the Piazza below. Head up the stairs and you will find yourself near the Galleria Borghese - one of the coolest museums in Rome.
