If you are going to tear down Virgin Megastore, you had better have something awesome in mind. Disney did not disappoint. The new luxury bowling alley is two stories of kitschy 50s décor, open bars, and private lanes. Behind every lane is a full table, and behind every table is your very own friendly waitress. The menu offers a huge selection. Sushi at a bowling alley? The thought of raw fish and sticking my hand right back into a bowling ball was, admittedly, a little questionable. But it comes fresh from the sushi bar with classy little chopsticks. Very tasty, and hands down the best meal you will have in borrowed shoes! The retro theming and mature atmosphere will make the kids feel like big dogs, and also give the adults relief from the “It’s a Small World” song that is probably still going strong in their heads. Even if you are a local, Splitsville is definitely worth a visit. It is the only place where the words “strike” and “sophisticated” collide for a winning score.
