I don't care for luxemburgerli, but everything else this place sells is scrumptious. There is even one in the Zurich airport if you forgot to pick up some of their coffee or chocolates.

A delicious place to have lunch and dessert. The food is delicious, they have sandwiches, salads, soups and a few pasta dishes. The menu is in Swiss-German only, though, so it was a little hard to pick. They have seating outside and inside. The chocolates and desserts look like jewels and are as good as they look.

the famous Sprüngli confisserie is well known for great truffles, this small shop is located in the departures area of Geneva airport.

One must visit either a Sprungli cafe or at least a Sprungli store when in Zurich (otherwise it is like going to SF and not visit Ghirardelli, or going to Paris and not stop by Laduree), and while there, in addition to the chocolates, the luxemburgerli must be sampled. These light little confectioneries are like the Swiss' answer to the French's macarons...only lighter, softer, and smaller...whether yummier? that is still up for debate but worth a try especially for a macaron fan!
