Historic oldest city in the United States. There is something for everyone here. Hop on a trolley and tour the town; visit Flagler College and take the tour; entertain the kids at the Pirates Museum which is fun for young and old; checkout the art galleries or visit the antique shops. Plenty of restaurants with a wide variety of foods.Recommended for:Family Travelers

This is the oldest city in the Americas with some really great architecture and amazing ocean views. Great fish tacos and surf and perfect weather in the winter.

30 Minutes straight up A1A from our condo takes you to the downtown area. All our guests love St.Augustine. Something for everyone: art galleries, ghost tours, history, Fort Castillo, Shopping, a brewery, old time Fudge shoppe, brick paved streets, and realistic Re-enactments in the central square, complete with "gunpowder". Even a Florida winery with a tasting option.

OK, it might be a tourist trap with the fountain of youth and tours, tours, tours. But you will never see architecture in the oldest city in America like this. The Lightner museum is worth the trip all by itself, and the old fort Castillo de San Marcos is great fun.

A charming town near the water which features Spanish Colonial buildings and streets. Though a tourist attraction, St. Augustine has maintained its old world charm and romantic ambiance. It is a perfect getaway if you prefer historical sites over theme parks.
