Toronto's second oldest church (1847). With its traditional Neo-Gothic style, exquisite stained glass windows and impressive steeples and spires, this Catholic cathedral resonates as one of Toronto's architectural and spiritual landmarks.

St. Michael's Cathedral had its cornerstone laid in 1845 by the first Catholic bishop in Toronto, Michael Power. It's an active church and the principal church of english speaking Catholics in Canada. It's one of the churches I encountered as I wandered down the appropriately named Church Street.
